ADG7 LICENCE TRAINING –
DANGEROUS GOODS ROAD TRANSPORT LICENCE COURSE
WorkSafe, EPA, and Transport Department Regulations
Australian Dangerous Goods Code (7th edition)
Our Approved Dangerous Goods Licence course is suitable for all personnel engaged in the transport of Dangerous Goods by road, particularly those:-
(a) driving dangerous goods in Licensable quantity receptacles;
(b) transferring bulk dangerous goods to or from vehicles, and
(c) supervising the above dangerous goods occupations.
This was formerly commonly referred to as Bulk Dangerous Goods Licence course.
The Licence course is mandated under Regulation for specific occupations where dangerous goods are being transferred or transported.
The link with road transport of dangerous goods in “small packagings” is also established, and included in the training courses.
Separate courses are offered for personnel involved in the transport of “Packaged Dangerous Goods” only
We also offer general dangerous goods awareness/familiarisation training for other personnel such as those loading or handling the dangerous goods or taking bookings for freight.
All courses are aligned to the requirements of the Regulations and the national Industry Competency Standards, and are customised to ensure that each person receives information and instruction commensurate with his or her responsibilities.
Every successful participant is issued with documentary evidence of their training.
Attendance at the appropriate training course will help to ensure that the applicable requirements of the state and territory transport regulations are complied with.
