IMDG Code Training

IMDG TRAINING – DANGEROUS GOODS SEA TRANSPORT
        International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code
        Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA)

Our “AMSA Accepted” IMDG Code training is suitable for all personnel engaged in the following function-specific occupations:-
(a)  packing dangerous goods in packages;
(b)  marking, labelling or placarding dangerous goods;
(c)  loading or unloading cargo transport units; and
(d)  preparing transport documents for dangerous goods, and
(e)  signing or authorising transport documents for dangerous goods.

We also offer general dangerous goods awareness/familiarisation training for other personnel such as those handling the dangerous goods packages or taking bookings for freight or passengers.

All courses are aligned to the requirements of Chapter 1.3 of the IMDG Code and are customised to ensure that each person receives information and instruction commensurate with his or her responsibilities. Every successful participant is issued with documentary evidence of their training.

Attendance at the appropriate training course will help to ensure that the applicable requirements of AMSA Marine Orders, Part 41, Issue 10 are complied with.
