BULK DANGEROUS GOODS DRIVER COURSE

COURSE INFORMATION

This course provides all information necessary for the dangerous goods bulk driver to apply for a Licence from WorkSafe Victoria. Content includes identification and handling, safety precautions and equipment, and compliance with the applicable statutory requirements.

The course is aligned to the Competency Standards contained within National Training Packages.

• Overview of all classes of Dangerous Goods.
• Transport and handling criteria in detail.
• Transport compatibility.
• Item and Risk identification shortcuts (familiarity of hazards).
• Safety & Personal Protective Equipment
• Transport Labels and Emergency Information Panels.
• Introduction to HAZCHEM Emergency Action Code.
• Emergency Procedure Guides and Shipping Documents.
• Emergency Control - General.

ASSESSMENT

Assessment is against the national Standard and Assessment Instrument, which are accepted in all states and territories. Assessors are fully licensed and accredited and we have third party appeal procedures in place that you might access if you disagree with any assessment outcome.
